Under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation and the Governorate of South Sinai, the activities of the seventeenth scientific conference on animal nutrition and fodder manufacturing were held in Taba in November, organized by the Egyptian Society for Nutrition and Fodder.

The patronage of the “Al-Watania for Feed”, one of Al-Watania Poultry Group, Egypt, stems from its belief in supporting scientific and research conferences not only at the level of the industry and production of feed, but also animal nutrition and health, as well as the enrichment of supportive scientific research aimed at advancing the development of livestock and supporting food security.

A representative of the company Dr. Muhammad Bakr – Consultant Animal Nutrition and Feed Manufacturing Development, and Dr. Muhammad Abdel Halim, Head of Livestock Feed Sales, attended.

Prof. Hamdy Khattab, Chairman of the Egyptian Society for Nutrition and Fodder, thanked Al-Watania for Feed, appreciating its material and moral support for the conference.

This conference is the largest and oldest in the field of animal nutrition and feed manufacturing technology in Egypt, and more than 200 scientists and researchers from Egypt and some Arab and foreign countries participate in the conference’s work, and it witnesses several scientific sessions specialized in nutrition; Ruminants, poultry, and fish, in addition to presenting posters, dialogue and discussion panels, to arrive to results and recommendations aimed at adding new support to the development of livestock and forage resources within the framework of transferring modern technology to production sites in Egypt and the Arab world.
